Alejandro Cachón and Borja Rozada are heading for the 57th Rally de Ourense, the fourth round of the Spanish Superchampionship Rally Championship (S-CER), which will take place from 14 to 15 June of 2024.
After the victory in the Rally Islas Canarias and the third place in the ERC, the duo Cachón-Rozada will seek victory, again on tarmac, and therefore, retain the leadership in the overall championship standings.
To prepare for this event, the team carried out a test day prior to the rally where both the driver and the team worked to find a good setup for the stages of this rally.
The 57th Rally de Ourense has 14 timed sections divided into two stages, totalling 159.48 km. The action will begin on Friday with the shakedown and will end on Saturday, when the drivers will compete in the special stage.
Alejandro Cachón (DRIVER): “Very happy with the work we did yesterday durng the test. Throughout the day we tried a lot of things to find a good set-up for the car for this rally. The whole team worked very hard to try as many things as possible. I think in the end we found a good set-up for Rally Ourense. The car is very good in this kind of stages and we will try to fight for the victory’’.
Borja Rozada (CO-DRIVER): “I’m looking forward to getting back in the GR Yaris Rally2 after the victory in the Canary Islands. We arrive in Ourense motivated and we will do our best to come back home with another victory”.
Teo Martín (TEAM MANAGER): “We arrive at Rally Ourense very motivated after the great results obtained in the Canary Islands, with the victory in the S-CER and the third place in the ERC. We hope that the work of the whole team has good results and we continue in this winning streak”.
