Diego Domínguez and Rogelio Peñate will compete during the 2025 season in the WRC2 category, within the World Rally Championship, where they will participate aboard a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, under the structure of Teo Martín Motorsport.
The current world champions in the WRC3 category will make their debut in the 2025 season at the Kenya Rally, the third round of the championship, which will be held from 20 to 23 March 2025.
Diego Domínguez and Rogelio Peñate will compete in seven events throughout the year in Europe, South America and Asia in which they will try to achieve the best results.
Both joined the Teo Martín Motorsport team for the Rally RACC 2024, where they demonstrated their maximum involvement with the team, showing their capacity for hard work and effort. This, added to the great performance in that event, has made Diego Domínguez and Teo Martín Motorsport decide to continue joining forces to compete together in the next WRC2 campaign.
Diego Domínguez (DRIVER): “I want to thank Teo and all his team for the great support they have given us, so that this agreement has become a reality. I am sure that together we will work to achieve all the goals we have set ourselves, always leaving Paraguay and Toyota at the top”.
Rogelio Peñate (CO-DRIVER): “Super excited about the season. We couldn’t have had a better feeling at the RACC Rally so we can’t wait to get back in the GR Yaris Rally2, and work with the Teo Martín Motorsport team on the first event of the 2025 season”.
Teo Martín (TEAM MANAGER): “I am quite excited with this project. I think we have everything we need to have a good year in the World Championship. We have an unbeatable GR Yaris Rally2 crew, a great technical team and, most importantly, a great desire to work and do things well”.
