Sunday’s race day was just as intense as the rest of the Grand Prix weekend at Balaton Park for the MSi Racing Team.
In Moto3, Hakim Danish crashed out, losing any chance of making up for a disappointing qualifying session. Ryusei Yamanaka finished in 17th place as he continues working to improve his feeling on the bike.
In Moto2, Iván Ortolá, who was unable to set a lap time in Q2 yesterday, was involved in a racing incident with Dani Muñoz, resulting in a crash that brought his weekend in Hungary to an early end.
Now it is time to focus on the next Grand Prix, the ninth round of the season, the Czech Republic Grand Prix, which will take place in two weeks’ time at Brno.

“The start of the race was very good and I gained several positions, but afterwards my pace was not what I needed. I couldn’t catch the group ahead because riding the bike was becoming quite difficult. It has been a tough weekend, but now it’s time to focus on the next one: Brno.”

“Of course, I am a little disappointed that I was unable to finish today’s race after crashing on the opening lap following an incident with another rider who hit me from behind. However, that is part of racing. Sometimes unexpected things happen and we have to accept them as part of the sport.
Overall, it has been quite a challenging weekend for me in Hungary, as it was my first time racing at this circuit. There are still many areas where I need to improve, both in my riding and in my knowledge of the track. I will take this experience as a valuable lesson that will help me grow as a rider and come back stronger in the future.
Together with the team, we will continue working hard, and I will carry on with my training programme as usual to make sure I am fully prepared for the next race. My focus is now on the Czech Republic Grand Prix. I am looking forward to getting back on track and hope to deliver a stronger performance and achieve a positive result at the next round.
