Ogura and Ortolá leave Germany celebrating with the “family”.

Sergio García: “At the start of the race I felt quite good and I was able to recover positions, but after four laps I wasn’t comfortable to turn the bike. We have to analyse what’s going on, because we are strong, but in the race we are missing that point with the tyres”.

Ai Ogura: “I am very happy with this third position at Sachsenring, because it has never been a circuit where I have had good results. It was a hard fought race, but I managed to recover positions and take good points”.

Iván Ortolá: “We managed the race to be able to push a lot at the start, because then I had to do the Long Lap. After the Long Lap, I went slowly and calmly, knowing that I could catch the group because we had a good pace. Now we have to keep working in the same direction”.

Ryusei Yamanaka: “It’s difficult to accept the double Long Lap because I don’t think I was ahead at the start. A sixth position is very good after all the penalties I had to apply. I am satisfied because we are stronger than we were at the beginning of the season”

Óscar Gutiérrez: “It was a very strange weekend because in race 1 with the penalties everything went wrong for me. In the second race with the rain I didn’t want to take any risks and I preferred to score points to stay in the championship”.

Miquel Pons: “In the end the weekend was better than it seemed yesterday. At least we have moved up positions and we have saved this round. Now the summer break is coming and we will be at 100% in Austria”.
