“On the first day I was five seconds off the pace, but session by session I improved little by little. I’m sure I’ll do even better next year. I’ve gained a lot of experience in Portimão and Valencia. In Valencia, especially on the first day, I didn’t feel comfortable at all and I fell quite far behind. The team never lost faith in me, and I want to thank them for always supporting me. I didn’t give up either; I reviewed the data with the team to find the best setup for the bike.”
