Sixth position for Jan Solans and Rodrigo Sanjuan in their debut in the World Rally Championship and fourth in the Challenger category

Jan and Rodrigo have finished the Monte-Carlo Rally in sixth position in the WRC2 category in their first participation in the World Rally Championship aboard the Toyota Yaris Rally2.

Throughout the week, the Teo Martin Motorsport team has been working tirelessly to adapt and get to know the new car, and also Jan and Rodrigo have focused on gradually getting to know their new car with the aim of arriving at the finish line with a comprehensive learning process for the upcoming WRC events.

The Monte-Carlo Rally is one of the most difficult of the year, and it is also a new event for Jan. The whole team is happy with the work done and already thinking about further progress for the next rally, which will be in Sweden, the only event on the calendar that runs on snow.

Jan Solans (DRIVER): “I’m happy to have finished the rally, it was important to start this project on the right foot and this was the goal. We have lacked confidence, with the new rally and the new car has cost us a little adaptation. I hope that with the change of surface we can improve”.

Rodrigo Sanjuan (CODRIVER): “Monte-Carlo is a rally where it is easy to make serious mistakes. We have been cautious to gradually adapt and finishing the rally was the main goal. We are happy with the work we have done”.

Teo Martín (TEAM MANAGER): “It has been a nice rally, to get to know the car with Jan and Rodrigo, as well as with the team. They have done a great job. We have to continue on this path and little by little we will get the results we are looking for”.
